We apply the strategies of
implementation science to improve
healthcare outcomes.

Our efforts are grounded in implementation
science, the study of methods and strategies
to increase the uptake of evidence-based
practices into routine healthcare.

Leading Awareness To action Through Implementation of
Cardiometabolic Effort (LATTICE™) Consortium
is a first-of-
its-kind community dedicated to addressing cardiometabolic
patient needs through implementation efforts. By sharing
collectively-learned tools and methodologies, we can improve
the effectiveness of cardiometabolic patient care at scale.

A network of independent experts with a shared goal to
address cardiometabolic patient care through evidence-based
tools and methodologies, the consortium is led by its experts
who work together to develop our programs and activities.
LATTICE Consortium is structured so that there is no
hierarchy—each expert’s opinion is valued and equally
considered.

  • Our Mission

LATTICE™ Consortium is a first-of-its-kind community established to address unmet patient needs through implementation science.
By sharing evidence-based tools and methodologies, we aim to improve the quality and effectiveness of cardiometabolic patient care.

The LATTICE™ Consortium aims to operate in the disease state area to help improve patient care beginning with educating patients
and healthcare professionals on the disease, highlighting the importance of diagnosis and advocating for treating patients to
guidelines and recommendations, agnostic of any specific branded product.

    FRANCOISE A. MARVEL, MD:

And I think, that’s one of the things when you get teams like Yale and Johns Hopkins and UT Southwestern, we are all getting together thinking: How do we take our ideas, synergize them together, and scale in a sustainable way?

    NIHAR DESAI, MD, MPH:

What is the right set of strategies and multifaceted interventions that can really drive high quality care in terms of lipid-lowering therapy for our patients.

    MARC P. BONACA, MD, MPH:

The most important thing it’s accomplished is bringing people together, having a repository for new ideas to come in and be evaluated and a way to think more broadly about how we can have bigger goals and broad impact.

    FRANCOISE A. MARVEL, MD:

I am blown away by the incredible collaboration and that we’re already producing impact.
